What is a UTM link?
UTM parameters are tags you add to a URL so analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, and most others) can tell exactly where a visitor came from. A tagged link looks like example.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=spring-sale. Keeping these consistent is what makes campaign reporting trustworthy.
Pick the platform you're advertising on and this builder pre-fills utm_source and utm_medium for you, then offers that platform's dynamic macros — placeholders the ad platform swaps in at click time so each campaign, ad set, and ad is tracked automatically:
- Google Ads — ValueTrack like {campaignid}, {keyword}, {creative}.
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — {{campaign.name}}, {{adset.name}}, {{ad.name}}.
- TikTok — __CAMPAIGN_NAME__, __AID_NAME__, __CID_NAME__.
- Snapchat, ClickFunnels, email & more — sensible source/medium defaults and platform notes.
Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Your recent links are saved locally so you can grab them again later.
